Cooking Classes for Kids
Children ages 8-12 are invited to learn more about the health benefits of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes in this fun and engaging 2-hour class, led by Dr. Yami.
They will help prepare and sample 4 different healthy lunch and/or dinner recipes including: Super Hero Veggie Wraps and a delicious taco salad. Other hands-on activities will allow them to explore the world of plants.
Class participants will take home a small goody bag that includes a packet of information and recipes demonstrated during the class.
Parents are welcome to drop their child off or stay for the class after signing the waiver.
E-Course for Kids
This interactive course will expose you and your family to new fruits and vegetables and teach you the importance of eating whole foods.
Dr. Yami will lead you through 4 comprehensive lessons consisting of information videos, yummy recipe demonstrations, activities, quizzes, and more.
You will be able to download educational materials and recipes for your use at any time.
