Scrumptious Oil-Free Hummus

Oil-Free Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans low-sodium chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 Tbsp roasted sunflower seeds
  • 2 Tbsp Tamari or Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin

Method:

Combine all of the above ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smooth. Variations: Add in 1/2 cup of one of the following:

1/2 cup kalamata olives
1/2 cup roasted red pepper
1/2 cup of cooked and peeled sweet potato
